Terms of Service
Last updated: March 3, 2026. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Contiv Financial mobile application (the "App") operated by Contiv SRL ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Contiv Financial is a personal and business expense and income tracking application. The App allows you to:
- checkRecord and categorize expenses and income
- checkTrack personal and business finances separately
- checkSet and monitor budgets
- checkView financial reports and charts
- checkManage multiple currencies
The App is a self-entry tool — you manually enter your financial data. The App does not connect to your bank accounts, does not access your financial institutions, and does not make any financial transactions on your behalf.
2. Account Registration

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16 years old.

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. User Data and Content
3.1 Your Data
All financial data you enter into the App (transactions, categories, tags, budgets, notes) remains your property. We do not claim any ownership over your data.
3.2 Data Accuracy
- •You are solely responsible for the accuracy of financial data you enter
- •Calculations are based on your data — we are not responsible for errors from inaccurate input
- •The App is not a substitute for professional accounting or bookkeeping software
3.3 Data Export
You may export your financial data from the App at any time. We will provide your data in a standard, machine-readable format.
3.4 Custom Content
Categories, tags, and other custom content you create within the App are stored in your account. You are responsible for ensuring that your custom content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- closeUse the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- closeAttempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- closeReverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- closeUse automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App
- closeInterfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' access
- closeUpload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- closeUse the App to launder money, evade taxes, or engage in financial fraud
- closeImpersonate another person or entity
- closeResell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and user interface, is the property of Contiv SRL and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
5.2 Trademarks
"Contiv", "Contiv Financial", and associated logos are trademarks of Contiv SRL. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
5.3 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the App, we may use them without any obligation to compensate you.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Accuracy
We do not warrant that calculations, reports, or data displayed by the App are error-free. You should verify important financial information independently.
Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the App.
Financial Advice
The App is a tracking and organizational tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for such advice.
Data Loss
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee against data loss. We recommend regularly exporting your data as a backup.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- •Contiv SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
- •Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- •We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on data displayed in the App
- •We are not liable for any tax obligations, penalties, or liabilities arising from your use of the App
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based. Your use of Contiv Financial is at your own risk.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Contiv SRL, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Google OAuth). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Third-party integrations are provided as-is. Review their terms before using.
10. Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to:

- tuneChange the scope of free plan features
- tuneIntroduce new features that may be subject to additional terms
We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your use of the App.
11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- • You violate these Terms
- • No activity for 24+ consecutive months
- • We discontinue the App (60 days notice)
Upon termination, you will have an opportunity to export your data before permanent deletion.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Romania.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Contiv SRL regarding the App
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, infrastructure failures)
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

- checkFor material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before
- checkContinued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
- checkYou must delete your account if you disagree
